About me

I have a background in social sciences and received my PhD in Political Science with a research project at the Centre of Natural Hazards and Disaster Science in 2017. I am convinced that we can learn much more about natural hazards when we combine knowledge from multiple disciplines and I believe this approach will also produce the most relevant research for societies.

Research

My research focuses on exploring social and political effects of natural hazards on societies and I examine public discourses in relation to disasters in order to understand how societies understand and frame natural hazards and their management.
